Little Boots - “Earthquake (Treasure Fingers’ Epicwave Remix)”
I’m beginning to think that this Little Boots character is on to something. She came correct with “Stuck On Repeat,” which I think is a pretty credible late-breaking contender for the “best disco track of the Aughties” crown. And now, this, an inspired ode to relationship masochism so catchy and artful that I can honestly actually see it being a hit. Of course, due credit must also go to Treasure Fingers - the original version has a bit more of an awkward hip hop lope to it, and this well-titled remix digs down and finds the massive dancefloor potential. Sick.
