La Roux - “In For the Kill” (Skream’s Let’s Get Ravey Remix)
This is a really brave remix. I love Skream’s confidence in the original vocal, which he lets play basically a capella for the first 2 minutes. We’ve hit the four minute mark before he drops the breakbeat.
Also, it’s pretty incredible that this remix is apparently in commercials for video games. (“Bayonetta,” if you’re into that sort of thing).
Update: Holy shit, this video has been viewed more than 3.5 million times. Dubstep: not just for breakfast anymore!
